Madden PC Online / Unannounced

I was the Server Lead for Madden PC Online, an unannounced title that was canceled before going into Beta. We started with the Madden NFL 10 code base and integrated Madden NFL 11 during development.

Because this title was never announced, I can’t discuss all of the features. However it was an awesome project using the technologies shown below. Some of the server components developed by my team carried over into Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online, resulting in my team being added to the credits for Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online.

The features that were shared with Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online were server components supporting Social Features such as :

• Friends Lists, Friend Invites
• Online Friend Chat and Group Chat
• Friend and Game Invites
• Technologies: XMPP/Bosh, Java, JMS, JMX, JAXP
