Tiger Woords PGA Tour Online

Overview

Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online launched in 2010 and was retired in July, 2013. It was one of the first online Unity3D games EA ever released.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online is an online streaming version of the Tiger Woods franchise. Players may take part in single player modes or in tournaments. Online tournaments were split into weekly and daily competitions, and were sometimes based on events that were concurrently happening in the PGA Tour.

Contribution

At the time, I was the server lead for Madden PC Online. My team had developed online services supporting social features such as: online chatting, group chat, friend invites, friends list, and online game invites. Although these features were developed for Madden PC Online, they were shared and integrated into the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online project.

Hence, my server team appears on the credits for Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online. Although we were technically part of Madden PC Online.
