Product Analysis WebApp

Overview

Developed a proprietary bulk product analysis tool that studies a Product Supplier’s inventory to identify profitable product placements that meet ROI and Sales requirements. A web based application frontend displays status of asynchronous processing of the products in the inventory and the analysis results. Implemented

Implemented a Php Web Frontend and a Java Backend Service, partitioned into Micro Services, using a MySQL datastore.

Implemented a Php frontend using the Yii2 MVC framework. The frontend display’s the status of asynchrous processing of supplier’s inventory, triggers workflow events and displays analysis results.

Implemented a Java Microservices Backend, comprised of various JMX Agents that support an asynchonous workflow with various microservices that are integrated with 3rd party data sources, such as Amazon’s MWS.

Micro Services use a MySQL datastore (RDS/MySQL in Production). And are monitored using Prometheus and Grafana Dashboards. Defined DB Schema, documented logical and physical models. Micro Services use a combination of JPA Entities and Stored Precedures.
